Miami, FL – One Hospitalized After Truck Crashes into House on 185th St

Miami, FL (October 25, 2023) – A pickup truck driver in southwest Miami-Dade County hit a house early Wednesday, leading to a handful of victim injuries.

The front part of the vehicle was seen inside the home in the 11900 block of Southwest 185th Street in the South Miami Heights neighborhood at about 10:30 a.m., per local news footage.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and the Miami-Dade Police Department arrived quickly at the site. Authorities from MDFR have said that one individual was taken to the hospital for treatment of “traumatic injuries,” though it’s unclear whether that victim was inside the vehicle or the house at the time of the crash.

An investigation is still active in the interim.
