Miami, FL – Motorcyclist Struck by Car that then Slammed into Dealership
Miami, FL (October 14, 2020) – A motorcyclist was injured after he was struck by a car in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood this past Monday morning. After striking the motorcyclist, the car then crashed into a car dealership.
The wreck took place in the vicinity of Southwest Eighth Street just west of I-95 in the early morning hours of Monday, October 12.
Paramedics were present at the scene of the collision in order to render aid to the injured motorcyclist who was then transported to Ryder Trauma Center for treatment.
The car that slammed into the dealership was identified as an orange luxury vehicle.
The driver who struck the motorcyclist and then drove into the building fled the scene of the crash.
The entirety of Eighth street was shut down for a period of time after the wreck occurred in order to allow first responders to clear the crash from the building. The collision left a large hole in a concrete wall as well as broken windows.
No other injuries were reported to have resulted from the incident.
