Miami, FL – Man, Pet Injured in Dog Attack at Monty’s Sunset

Miami, FL (October 22, 2023) – In a restaurant in Miami-Dade County on Friday, authorities say that a dog attacked a customer.

The pet’s owner informed officials that his injured animal required surgery after another dog attacked him and his dog without provocation. The man also required an assessment from local EMTs.

The incident occurred in front of Monty’s Sunset in Miami Beach on Friday evening.

Although the dog and its owner were reported to authorities, it remains unknown what, if any, citations or charges would result from the incident.
