Miami, FL – Man Killed in Hit-and-Run at Ali Baba & 27th Ave

Miami, FL (October 25, 2023) – On Wednesday, police in Miami-Dade County said they were appealing to the public for assistance in locating a man they believe was responsible for a hit-and-run that resulted in the death of a 60-year-old pedestrian in Opa-locka.

According to a press statement by the Miami-Dade Police Department, the man was crossing Ali Baba Avenue at Northwest 27th Avenue at 7:55 p.m. when he was hit and killed by a Honda Accord traveling west on Ali Baba. P

The suspect “fled the scene without rendering aid or calling 911,” authorities added.

The Honda Accord was located by police on Wednesday, but the suspect driver remained at large. Witnesses were asked to call the Miami police if they knew anything about the case or suspect.
