Miami, FL - Injury Vehicle Collision Shuts Down FL Trnpke

Miami, FL (March 25, 2024) – A major crash shut down all lanes of Florida’s Turnpike on Sunday night. The accident reportedly happened in the southbound lanes, but all lanes were shut down in both directions as crews responded to the scene near Sample Road.

The wreck happened shortly before midnight, according to Miami Police Department authorities. However, no specific details regarding the victims involved or the total number of people hospitalized have been released. An investigation is proceeding in the interim.

Our thoughts and best wishes for a full recovery go out to the injured victims.
