Miami, FL – Injuries Reported in School Bus Crash at Dixie Hwy & 230th St

Miami, FL (September 15, 2023) – On Friday in southwest Miami-Dade, a school bus transporting several students was involved in a collision with another vehicle.

According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the incident took place just before 8:00 a.m. near the intersection of northbound Dixie Highway and SW 230th Street.

There were nine kids and an adult in the vehicle, and all of them were evaluated at the scene for injuries. No life-threatening injuries were reported, though the total number of victims hospitalized is unknown.

Whether or not charges will be filed was not immediately revealed by police. Officers say their investigation remains active in the meantime.
