Auto Collisions in Miami

According to Florida law, people, businesses, and government entities who are liable for someone’s death due to their irresponsible or negligent behavior may be held legally accountable.

Wrongful death laws entitle immediate family members of the deceased, like minor children, spouses, and parents of minors, to file a civil claim and seek financial compensation for medical expenses acquired while treating the victim’s injuries before they died, burial costs, lost income that the victim would have earned during their lifetime, and many more.

Establishing the appropriate amount of damages is complicated, particularly assessing things such as loss of consortium and a lifetime of lost wages and benefits. A Florida wrongful death attorney will be able to assist you in building a strong case designed to get you and your family the financial compensation to which you are entitled.

If you recently lost a loved one to wrongful death in Florida, the law entitles the personal representative of their estate, typically a surviving parent, child, or spouse, to file a wrongful death suit in state court for financial compensation for monetary damages.
