Miami, FL – Fatal Collision Injures One on NW 2nd Ave & 29th St
Miami, FL (May 3, 2021) – A severe collision took one person’s life on May 1 in Miami. The wreck was reported in the early morning hours of Saturday along Northwest 2nd Avenue.
Police stated that the incident took place on Northwest 2nd Avenue and 29th Street when a black Jeep and a Chevrolet SUV were involved in a collision. The wreck left one person trapped inside of their vehicle.
Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to extract the victim from the vehicle. They were seriously injured and immediately transported to an area hospital in order to receive treatment. Their name has not been released at this time.
Police continue to investigate the details of the incident.
