Miami, FL – Clement Zanzuri Identified in Deadly Helicopter Crash on 122nd

Miami, FL (December 30, 2023) – The victims of a local helicopter accident have been identified by authorities on Friday, December 29. Jordan Zanzuri swam out of a canal in southwest Miami-Dade and immediately dialed 911 after her father was killed in the crash, per officials.

Her father, 71-year-old Clement Zanzuri, was identified as the deceased victim of Wednesday afternoon’s helicopter crash. According to other 911 callers, the helicopter lost control and crashed into the canal in rural Miami-Dade, close to Southwest 122nd Street and west of Krome Avenue. The surviving victim, 27-year-old Jordan Zanzuri, was rushed to the hospital with neck and back injuries but is expected to survive. As of Friday, Zanzuri was still in the hospital at Jackson South Medical Center. The collision is under investigation by federal officials, while the death of Clement Zanzuri is being investigated by the Miami-Dade Police Department.
