Miami, FL (November 13, 2023) – On Monday, firefighters responded to a townhouse fire in South Miami-Dade, according to early reports released from the scene.

A unit at 28151 SW 142nd Court caught fire. A toddler was also injured in the fire, and there was significant damage to the home’s interior.

The child was sent to the emergency room, though it is currently unknown how they are doing. Police and firefighters did not say whether any other injuries occurred.

An investigation remains active.
