Miami-Dade, FL – Car Wreck on I-95 S at SR-916 NW results in Injuries, Delays
Miami-Dade, FL (April 9, 2021) – On the afternoon of April 8, a serious car crash took place on an interstate in Miami-Dade county. Information from reports shows that the wreck happened on Interstate 95 south at around 3:40 p.m.
The factors contributing to the cause of the collision have not been reported to the public at this time. The wreck happened on I-95 South at State Road 916 North West, 135 Street/Opa-locka Boulevard.
Three right lanes of the interstate were closed in order to allow responders to work safely at the crash scene. At least one person was reported to have been injured in the accident. Wounded parties were rendered emergency aid on site before being taken to local medical centers for further care as needed.
The identities of those involved have yet to be released. Police in Miami-Dade continue to investigate.
