Lauderhill, FL – Two Hospitalized After Fatal Crash on FL Trnpke at MM 59

Lauderhill, FL (November 25, 2023) – As of Saturday morning, the Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a probable fatal collision in Lauderhill, which shut down all northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike. At least three cars had significant front-end damage as a result of the crash, according to responders near the site. The wreck occurred Saturday morning at sunrise, close to Mile Marker 59, in the northbound lanes of the Turnpike. As confirmed by Lauderhill Fire Rescue officials, two individuals were sent to a neighboring hospital in critical condition after the collision. The total number of injured victims or deceased victims is unknown, however.
