Lauderhill, FL – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on NW 46th Street

Lauderhill, FL (April 17, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash that took place in Lauderhill on Friday, April 16th. The accident happened on Northwest 46th Street at the intersection with Inverrary Boulevard.

According to Lt. Mike Santiago of the Lauderhill Police Department, the motorcyclist came to the intersection. As he proceeded into the intersection, the motorcycle was struck by a car that was turning from the southbound lanes of Inverrary onto Northwest 46th Street. The rider was traveling northbound on Iverarry at the time. The motorcyclist, who was not immediately identified, died at the accident scene. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt in the collision. The road was closed while police investigated and motorists were urged to find alternate routes of travel.

There is no further information available. An investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
