Hollywood, FL – Two Killed, Two Injured in Crash on I-95/Hollywood Blvd Exit Ramp
Hollywood, FL (March 9, 2021) – Two people lost their lives and two others were hospitalized after a deadly car accident happened in Hollywood on Friday, March 5. According to officials, the wreck occurred on I-95’s exit ramp to Hollywood Boulevard.
Reports indicate that the incident took place when a car headed south on the exit ramp lost control and collided with another vehicle at the intersection. Two men present in the vehicle that lost control were sent to the hospital with injuries deemed critical in nature.
A man and a woman who were in the vehicle that was hit were also transported to a nearby hospital where they both succumbed to their injuries and passed away. No one involved has been identified at this time.
Hollywood Boulevard was closed between Park Road and 28th Avenue for several hours after the collision occurred. The entrance to Interstate 95 near the train tracks was also closed off.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
