Hollywood, FL – Injuries Occur After Car Crashes into House at Taft & Longfellow

Hollywood, FL (December 20, 2023) – Authorities in Broward County stated that early Wednesday morning, a woman drove her vehicle into a residence in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood.

Just before 4:40 a.m. in the morning, the collision occurred at a house close to Hollywood Hills Elementary School, on the corner of Taft Street and South Longfellow Circle. A spokesman for the Hollywood Police Department, Deanna Bettineschi, said that cops rescued the woman after the vehicle caught fire while she was still inside. She was transported to an area hospital, and EMTs reportedly assessed at least one other person at the scene. The crash’s cause was under investigation by detectives.
