Florida Vehicle Crashes
Unfortunately, car accidents in Florida happen hundreds of thousands of times per year. This means that a car accident in the Sunshine State is happening almost constantly, or about once every 84 seconds. Yearly, the state sees more than 400,000 auto accidents. Over 250,000 people sustain injuries and more than 3,000 are killed in these collisions. Motor vehicle accidents in Florida occur for numerous reasons, but the leading cause is currently driver negligence. Driver negligence is responsible for almost 100% of the auto accidents that take place in the United States, or about 92%. This means that almost all of the auto accidents that happen could be prevented by drivers choosing to be more attentive and responsible while behind the wheel.
