Fort Lauderdale, FL (September 12, 2023) – Two teenage girls were seriously injured after a motorcyclist hit them and fled the scene in Fort Lauderdale on Friday.

Police with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department say the motorcyclist crashed into the victims on A1A and Granada Street before speeding off.

According to the police report, the responding officer searched the area but could not locate the motorcycle or its rider. An investigation remains ongoing in the meantime, and no further details were released at this time.
