Ft Lauderdale, FL – Car Crashes Into House on NW 29th Terrace, Three Injured
Ft Lauderdale, FL (October 12, 2020) – Three people were hurt and hospitalized, including a baby, after an auto accident occurred on a roadway in Ft. Lauderdale this past Sunday.
At approximately 11:00 a.m. on October 11, a car and an SUV were involved in a collision on Northwest 29th Terrace.
Broward Sheriff’s Office along with Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to the wreck that took place in the 1000 block of Northwest 29th Terrace. Upon their arrival at the crash scene, they found a red SUV and a gray Hyundai Sonata that were involved in the collision–both heavily damaged.
The Sonata had careened into a nearby home due to the collision. Two individuals and a baby who were passengers inside the Sonata at the time of the accident sustained injuries in the wreck.
The baby was securely fastened in a child safety seat and only suffered minor injuries. The child’s mother and another person present in the Sonata were also injured and transported by ambulance to Plantation General Hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash will be carried out by local police.
No further injuries were reported to have resulted from the incident, and no one inside the home was hurt.
We would like to offer our thoughts to those who sustained injuries in the wreck in hopes of a full and speedy recovery.
Florida Auto Accidents
Florida is one of the most dangerous states in the nation for motorists. According to statistics, there were more than 400,000 car accidents reported statewide in 2019. Of this number, approximately 250,000 motorists suffered injuries, many of them serious in nature. A Florida car accident can be a life-altering event for both victims and their families as the injured person struggles to regain the life that they enjoyed prior to the accident.
If you have been affected by a crash in South Florida, you should speak with an experienced Miami car accident lawyer right away. You may have the right to obtain compensation for your injuries, including payment for your pain and suffering, lost wages, medical bills, and possibly more.
