Fort Lauderdale, FL – Major Car Crash on US-27
Fort Lauderdale, FL (December 18, 2020) – At approximately 6:57 p.m. on December 15, police responded to a call concerning an auto accident with injuries that took place on a roadway in Fort Lauderdale.
The incident took place on US-27 in the southbound lanes at milepost 46 for reasons still being investigated by local law enforcement officials.
The fire department and paramedics were called to the scene. Emergency medical technicians assisted the injured victims. At this time, it is unclear how many people sustained injuries in this crash.
None of the injured victims have been identified at this time. An investigation into this crash is ongoing. All lanes of US-27 were closed while first responders were present at the crash scene. Local travelers were asked to avoid the area if at all possible.
