Davie, FL (October 20, 2023) – An employee was seriously injured in a tree stump grinding accident in Davie, and emergency responders transported him to the hospital.

The incident occurred Friday afternoon in the Estates of Stirling Lake neighborhood.

Davie Fire Rescue reports that the victim’s leg was trapped in the equipment while he was cutting down a tree in the backyard of a house.

The man was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital by ambulance. His current condition is unknown, but authorities are continuing to investigate.
