Dania Beach, FL – Man Hospitalized After Pedestrian Wreck on Dixie Hwy near SE 7th St
Dania Beach, FL (April 28, 2021) – A man was taken to the hospital with injuries deemed serious in nature after he was hit by a vehicle while riding his scooter. The incident was reported to have occurred on the morning of Wednesday, April 28.
According to reports, the wreck occurred on the Dixie Highway near Southeast 7th Street. The factors leading up to the crash have not been reported at this time. Unfortunately, the driver involved fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
The victim was treated on-site by EMTs who responded to the scene. He was then transported to an area medical center in order to receive treatment for his injuries. His name has not been released at this time.
Police continue to investigate the details of the incident.
