Broward County, FL – All Lanes Blocked by Injury Crash on Florida’s Turnpike S near Milepost 40
Broward County, FL (July 16, 2021) – A car crash with injuries occurred on a roadway in Broward County that required an emergency response. The incident was reported at around 9:10 a.m. on July 16.
Sources indicate that the accident happened on Florida’s Turnpike South near mile post 40. All lanes of the interstate were blocked while responders were at the scene.
At least one individual required transportation to a medical center due to the severity of their injuries. No one involved has been identified to the public at this time.
Local drivers were forced to find alternative routes for some time while crews were active at the scene of the collision, blocking the roadway.
