Bradenton, FL – Fatal Motorcycle Collision on Manatee Ave Under Inquiry

Bradenton, FL (March 16, 2024) – A motorcyclist died after a crash near Manatee Avenue Thursday night, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

A vehicle turning from Manatee Avenue onto 30th Street West struck a motorcyclist, according to police. The crash temporarily blocked eastbound lanes and rerouted traffic. The police department’s Traffic Homicide Investigators and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene around 8:40 p.m. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital but died from his injuries, added officers. Further information about the motorcyclist, such as his name and age, was not immediately available.
