Boca Raton, FL – Peter Posner Fatally Struck by Car on Federal Hwy
Boca Raton, FL (February 17, 2021) – An man from Boca Raton sustained fatal injuries when he was struck by a Jeep as he was crossing Federal Highway on Monday, February 15th.
The man, who has since been identified as 83-year-old Peter Posner, was crossing Federal Highway in the area of Royal Palm Plaza when a 2011 Jeep, driven by a 25-year-old male, ran into him.
Posner was transported via ambulance to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Federal Highway was shut down in all directions for around three hours. Authorities have stated they do not believe speed played a role in this accident.
