Boca Raton, FL – One Dead, Four Hurt in Crash on FL Trnpke at Glades

Boca Raton, FL (September 13, 2023) – After a deadly multi-vehicle accident, authorities reported that the southbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike reopened.

Five cars were involved in the accident that blocked traffic on the Florida Turnpike between Glades Road and State Route 808 in Palm Beach County, according to fire officials.

Per the PBCFR, there were five drivers involved in the collision. Two of the four patients sent to the hospital were considered to be in critical condition, while one other motorist died at the scene.

Local officials are continuing their investigation at this time.
