Florida Auto Wrecks

A fatal traffic accident in Florida is estimated to take place approximately once every three hours. This averages out to nearly 9 people who lose their lives per day due to fatal Florida car accidents. Each year, on average, a total of approximately 3,000 individuals are killed due to auto collisions in Florida. Sadly, most of these incidences are caused by driver negligence.

Negligence while driving is an easily preventable mistake made by thousands if not millions of American drivers. This dangerous behavior causes a very large number of traffic accidents throughout the nation, as well as traffic fatalities. If you have lost a loved one due to the negligence of another person on the road, call a Florida wrongful death attorney as soon as possible to discuss your options for financial compensation.

The most prevalent cause for car accidents to occur in the Sunshine State, currently, is distracted driving, which is another form of negligent driving. The specific action that people most often choose to carry out while driving that puts them in the ‘distracted driving’ category is texting. Texting and driving accounts for nearly one-fourth of all of the car accidents that take place in Florida.
