Child Dies After Go-Kart Accident at Trampoline Park
In December 2025, first responders responded to a call about a medical emergency at the Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park in Port St. Lucie. In addition to trampolines, the park has go-karts, zip lines, bumper cars, and laser tag. News reports later revealed that the cause of the injury was a go-kart accident and that the injured person was a six-year-old girl. The girl was airlifted to a hospital in Fort Pierce. She died on Sunday while still hospitalized. The accident is still under investigation, and news sources have not released any additional information.
This is not the first time a child has suffered serious injuries at an Urban Air location in Florida. Several years ago, an elementary school-aged boy fell from a zip line at an Urban Air park in Lakeland and landed on a concrete floor; his injuries were severe enough to require a prolonged hospitalization, but he was eventually well enough to return to school.
