What is a permanent injury?

Transcript

A permanent injury is when a doctor says that an accident has caused you an injury that, despite the best of medical care, has not fully recovered. If before an accident you were able to turn your neck all the way to the left, and then after the accident you can only turn your neck a little bit, and then you receive physical therapy, you receive medications, anti-inflammatories, and slowly but surely, with physical therapy you’re able to turn your neck more and more, but, even after all the therapy, you’re still not able to turn your neck as far as you did before, we call that a permanent injury. What it really means is despite the best of medical care, you body has not returned to the way it was before the accident occurred.
