What if I was not wearing a helmet or other safety gear but was not at fault?

Transcript

When you’re involved in a motorcycle accident in Florida, you are required to have safety gear. If you’re not wearing it, it’s not going to reduce what you’re entitled to unless wearing it would have made a difference. If you aren’t wearing a helmet and you hit your head, well then, it’s going to reduce the amount you collect. If you’re not wearing a helmet, and you break your leg, you’re going to get the full amount of your damages.
