Riviera Beach, FL – Pedestrian Killed in Crash on East 16th Street
Riviera Beach, FL (January 2, 2021) – Police and rescue workers responded to the scene of a fatal pedestrian crash in Riviera Beach this week. The accident occurred around 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28th.
According to officials, a man was walking on East 16th Street near the intersection with Broadway Avenue when he was hit by a vehicle. The man, who has not been identified, was rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach where he was pronounced dead. Police have not provided any details on the events leading up to the accident and the driver was also not identified. There were no additional injuries reported as a result of the crash.
No charges have been filed at this time, however, an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
