NW Miami-Dade, FL – Pedestrian Critically Hurt in Hit-and-Run on NW 27th Ave.
NW Miami-Dade, FL (March 13, 2021) – A pedestrian was hurt in a hit-and-run accident that took place in northwest Miami-Dade on Saturday morning. The incident took place at the intersection of Northwest 27th Avenue and 119th Street.
According to officials, a Lamborghini struck a 33-year-old Hispanic male as he was walking near the roadway. Following the crash, the Lamborghini driver sped away and left the scene. After a search, the driver was arrested several blocks away. The male pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition. His identity has not been released at this time. There is no word on the events that led up to the collision. Motorists were advised to use caution when traveling near the scene and to avoid the area if possible.
