Fatal Collisions in Florida

With 14.7 deaths per 100,000 residents, Florida has one of the highest rates of fatal traffic accidents in the country. Each year, more than 3,000 people are killed in deadly crashes that take place on our roadways. A Florida car accident can change the lives of both victims and their family members in an instant. Most crashes in our state result from the negligent actions of at least one driver. Speed, reckless driving, impairment, and distraction all contribute to the number of serious and fatal crashes that we see each year.

A car accident in Florida can cause a tremendous amount of heartache and grief for family members who suddenly have to face the loss of their loved one. This is especially true if your relative was killed in a crash that was not their fault. On average, about eight fatal crashes are reported in Florida every day and many of these accidents result in the death of innocent victims. If your loved one was killed in a crash, you should speak with a trusted and experienced Florida wrongful death attorney as soon as possible.
