Miami Gardens, FL – Child Hit & Killed in Pedestrian Crash on 183rd St

Miami Gardens, FL (March 18, 2024) – On Monday morning in Miami Gardens, the driver of an SUV struck a child who was walking to school, resulting in the victim’s death.

According to authorities, the collision occurred just before 7:30 a.m. in the vicinity of Northwest 183rd Street and Northwest 47th Avenue. Police in Miami Gardens confirmed that the victim was airlifted to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he or she was pronounced deceased. Per authorities, the motorist remained at the collision site after the incident. At this time, no further information has been disclosed.
