Miami, FL – Rear-End Crash Causes Injuries on I-95 near NW 103rd St
Miami, FL (May 19, 2021) – A car accident in Miami resulted in injuries and traffic delays on May 19. The wreck occurred when a Tesla rear-ended a Florida Department of Transportation Road Ranger on I-95, according to reports.
The left northern express lanes of Interstate 95 were blocked by the Road Ranger near Northwest 103rd Street. A black Tesla traveling north collided with the rear-end of the truck that was carrying two people at the time.
The two Rangers were transported to Jackson North with injuries deemed non-life-threatening in nature. Their names have not been released at this time. The Tesla driver was taken to Ryder Trauma with severe, yet non-life-threatening injuries.
Roadblocks were put in place in the area the collision occurred while responders worked to secure the scene. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
