Miami-Dade, FL - Edward Durden, AKA John, Loses Life in Fatal Crash

Miami-Dade, FL (December 16, 2020) – Two vehicles were involved in a collision at an intersection in northwest Miami-Dade on Wednesday, December 16. The impact caused one of the cars to drive through a chain-link fence into the front yard of an elderly woman’s home. 

The crash occurred at the intersection of Northwest 14th Street and 77th Terrace at approximately 12:30 a.m. in the neighborhood of Gladeview. The driver of the white Kia sedan that crashed through the fence due to being struck by the other vehicle lost his life due to the collision. 

The Kia’s driver was identified as 40-year-old Edward Durden. The driver of the other vehicle that caused the collision who was driving a black Kia SUV fled the scene of the collision.
