Death toll in Surfside condo collapse rises to 97, one more victim identified
Champlain Towers South, built in 1981, partially collapsed around 2 A.M. early Thursday morning – June 24,2021. It is reported that 55 units completely collapsed, the building has over 300 units in total.
Unfortunately, at least one person was killed and dozens were injured. First responders are working tirelessly to remove rubble and locate missing persons.
