Davie, FL – Driver Strikes Child Riding Bicycle on Griffin Rd

Davie, FL (November 16, 2023) – Davie police officers are working to determine what happened after a child riding a bicycle was struck by a driver on Monday, October 13th. The incident took place on Griffin Road at the South University Drive intersection. According to officials, the driver remained on the scene and has cooperated with investigators thus far. 

Police stated that the child, whose age has not been made public, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by paramedics to an area medical facility for treatment. The cause of the collision is currently under police investigation.
