Coral Springs, FL – Child Struck & Injured on Sample Rd at 110th Ave

Coral Springs, FL (April 2, 2024) – According to authorities, a 10-year-old child was struck by a vehicle on his way to Coral Springs Elementary on Tuesday morning and had to be taken to the hospital.

Sgt. Ernesto Bruna states that at around 8:00 a.m., Coral Springs Police responded to complaints about an accident near Sample Road and Northwest 110th Avenue. The child was struck by a white vehicle traveling east on Sample Road and was taken to Broward General, where he is now in stable condition. The van’s driver remained at the site, and police are now questioning witnesses.
