West Palm Beach, FL - Five-Car Wreck Causes Injuries on FL Trnple at 808

West Palm Beach, FL (September 14, 2023) – According to local accident alerts, the southbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike have reopened after a serious multi-vehicle accident.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue reports that an accident involving at least five cars has caused traffic delays on the Florida Turnpike between Exit 75 and State Route 808.

According to PBCFR, there were five drivers involved in the collision. Multiple patients were sent to the hospital and were considered to be in critical condition, though the victims’ current conditions are unknown.

News footage from the scene showed two overturned cars and four more with significant damage.

An investigation remains active in the interim.
