Tamarac, FL – Deadly Pedestrian Accident Occurs on Commercial Blvd

Tamarac, FL (September 14, 2023) – On Monday morning in Tamarac, a man was fatally hit by a car, prompting an investigation by the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

The incident happened at around 10:45 a.m. on West Commercial Boulevard, specifically in the 3200 block. Deputies and Tamarac Fire Rescue arrived at the site and discovered the victim lying in the road, according to BSO spokesperson Claudinne Caro.

Caro verified that the 23-year-old motorist involved remained at the accident site. BSO Traffic Homicide Unit investigators are looking into what happened and have not provided further details.
