Tamarac, FL – Auto Crash on Florida’s Turnpike Sends Two to Hospital
Tamarac, FL (October 19, 2020) – Lauderhill and Tamarac fire rescue crews along with paramedics and police responded to a call concerning a crash that occurred on Florida’s Turnpike in Tamarac this morning.
At approximately 10:20 a.m. on the morning of October 19, two vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike about half a mile south of the Commercial Boulevard exit.
Paramedics were present at the crash scene in order to render aid to those hurt in the accident. Two drivers involved in the crash were injured. Their injuries were deemed to be non-life-threatening in nature.
One of the vehicles involved caught fire and was badly damaged by the flames. That vehicle was identified as a McLaren.
No other information has been disclosed at this time. An investigation into the circumstances of the collision will be carried out by local police.
