Palm City, FL - One Killed in Car Accident on Martin Downs Blvd.

Palm City, FL (February 20, 2021) – The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a crash that resulted in a fatality in Palm City on Wednesday, February 17th. The crash happened just after 5:00 p.m. on Martin Downs Boulevard near Olympic Club Terrace and the Charter Club at Marti Downs.

According to troopers, a 2013 Chrysler sedan was traveling eastbound on Martin Downs when it collided with a 2004 Honda. The Honda was attempting to make a left turn onto Olympic Club Road at the time of the crash. A passenger in the sedan was rushed to Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The drivers of both vehicles, a 24-year-old man and a 43-year-old man, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Both men are from Palm City but their identities are not otherwise available at this time.

The crash remains under investigation by the FHP. No further details are available.
