Palm Beach, FL – Elderly Man Killed in Golf Cart Accident Near Par 3 Golf Course
Palm Beach, FL (June 14, 2021) – An 83-year-old man passed away on Tuesday, June 8th after being involved in a collision between a car and a golf cart near the Par 3 Golf Course in Palm Beach.
The deceased was one of two occupants of the golf cart. He was med flighted to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. The other victim is hospitalized with injuries that seem to be non-life-threatening.
The accident occurred at about 2:00 p.m. when the golf cart was attempting to cross South Ocean Boulevard.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene until police arrived. The road was closed in both directions for about three hours.
