Palm Beach County, FL – Multi-Vehicle Accident with Injuries on Florida’s Turnpike S near Mile Marker 108
Palm Beach County, FL (April 30, 2021) – Multiple vehicles were involved in a collision that occurred on a roadway in Palm Beach County. The incident was reported to have occurred at around 3:20 p.m. The factors contributing to the cause of the incident have not been determined at this time.
The wreck happened between two or more vehicles on Florida’s Turnpike South near milepost 108. Traffic was backed up back to mile marker 111 while responders worked to secure the scene.
Paramedics were dispatched to the area the collision took place in order to render emergency aid to those involved and injured. At least one person required immediate medical attention at the crash scene. Those who were seriously injured were loaded into ambulances and transported to local medical centers for further care as needed.
All lanes of the roadway were blocked while authorities and EMTs worked to clear the wreckage and assist injured parties. Traffic was backed up in the area for an extended period of time.
