Commercial Truck Accidents in Florida

Each year in Florida, there are thousands of accidents involving commercial trucks, including 18-wheelers, garbage trucks, and delivery vehicles. These vehicles are extremely large and heavy and the force and impact of a collision can lead to catastrophic injuries for victims. There are a variety of reasons for Florida truck accidents to occur, including distracted driving, improper or incomplete maintenance, impaired drivers, drowsy driving, or reckless driving. The cause of each crash must be carefully investigated in order to determine legal responsibility.

Many truck accidents in Florida are a result of the direct negligence of the truck driver or the company for which they are driving. Following a crash, the trucking company will often work to minimize its exposure and will attempt to make it difficult for you to recover for your injuries. Trucking companies can face huge exposure after an accident and entering litigation with these companies is a confusing and complex process. For this reason, it is important to have a skilled and experienced attorney by your side who can assist you throughout the process.
