Miami, FL - Woman Killed in Bicycle Crash on 14th Ave at 205th Terr

Miami, FL (September 17, 2023) – The driver of a pickup truck is wanted by police after they say he or she hit and killed a bicyclist in Northeast Miami-Dade.

The hit-and-run occurred near the corner of Northeast 14th Avenue and 205th Terrace at about 10:00 a.m. on a Sunday, prompting a response from the Miami-Dade Police Department and the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department.

The victim, a 20-year-old woman, was riding her bike when she was struck by a gold Toyota Tundra, according to investigators.

Per officials at the scene, the truck’s driver fled in an unknown direction. The injured biker was transported to Aventura Hospital by paramedics, where she later died.

Authorities in Miami-Dade County are still investigating the collision in the meantime.
