Miami, FL - Victims Hurt in Hit-and-Run on NW 17th Ave at 119th St

Miami, FL (December 31, 2023) – On Sunday, December 31, troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol and deputies from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office responded to a hit-and-run collision in Miami. The incident caused the closure of the intersection between NW 17th Avenue and 119th Street just before 1:40 p.m.

Although the exact number of casualties is unknown, paramedics were seen evaluating victims at the site of the wreck. Officials are currently looking into the wreck and have not released any new information about the suspect or their vehicle. Witnesses were asked to contact Miami-Dade officials if they had additional details.

Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims and their loved ones in hopes of their full recovery.
