Miami, FL – Two Hospitalized in Scooter Crash on Miramar Pkwy

Miami, FL (March 31, 2024) – Two men were taken to the hospital by rescue workers when their scooter caught fire after a vehicle crash, according to police. The vehicle’s driver fled the scene after the wreck, per authorities.

Early on Sunday morning, the hit-and-run occurred at Miramar Parkway and Red Road.  The two injured victims, identified only as adult men, were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital by paramedics. They are expected to recover, though the extent of their injuries is unknown. An investigation is ongoing in the meantime.
