Miami, FL – Scooter Rider Killed in Crash on Purdy Ln

Miami, FL (September 30, 2023) – On Saturday afternoon, one person was killed in an accident, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO).

According to deputies, the victim was riding his stand-up scooter westbound on Purdy Lane when he was involved in an accident with a 2022 Dodge Charger near Foxtail Drive.

The 39-year-old female driver of a Dodge Charger was reportedly heading west on Purdy Lane at the time of the wreck. The victim was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where he was confirmed dead.

No additional details were released, but officers are still investigating.
