Miami, FL – Palmetto Expy Site of Injury Wreck at Hialeah Gardens

Miami, FL - Palmetto Expy Site of Injury Wreck at Hialeah Gardens

Miami, FL (October 30, 2023) – According to local officers, two collisions occurred on Monday morning and resulted in severe delays in the southbound lanes of the Palmetto Expressway during rush hour.

The Palmetto Expressway (State Road 826) was congested from Miami Lakes all the way to Hialeah Gardens and Medley, per first responders at the scene.

At around 8:35 a.m. in the morning, live cams revealed that traffic on Palmetto Avenue near 122nd Street was congested as the result of two concurrent crashes that involved a number of vehicles. EMTs assessed several patients, though it is not clear what their present conditions are at this time.

An investigation remains active.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families.
